eTwinning SHINE ” Successful High-Impact Networking Event”
The eTwinning project SHINE (Successful High-Impact Networking Event) involved 48 pupils aged around 11 years old in an innovative educational journey aimed at improving their English language skills , while promoting inclusive and motivating teaching methods. Through the use of digital tools and collaboration with partner schools across Europe, students worked in international teams to create multimedia content such as collaborative stories, posters, an ebook, and a final song. Students developed not only their communication skills, but also key competences in digital literacy , creativity , intercultural awareness , and teamwork . The project was mainly integrated into the English curriculum, but also included elements of ICT, art, music, and citizenship education. The pedagogical approach was based on group work, project-based learning (PBL) , and the creative use of Web 2.0 tools, ensuring high levels of engagement and motivation. Assessment was carried out through questionnaires, self-assessment, peer feedback, and analysis of the final products. All activities were coordinated and documented on the Twinspace platform , respecting GDPR regulations and copyright laws. In summary, SHINE was a rich and meaningful learning experience that combined language acquisition, personal growth, and European awareness, thanks to strong collaboration between teachers and students from different countries.
